Request account deletion

If you wish to delete your Lunar Security account and all associated personal data, you can do so by contacting us using one of the methods below.

Option 1: Email request

Send an email to enquiries@lunarsecurityltd.co.uk with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account.

Option 2: Contact your supervisor

Ask your supervisor or site admin to deactivate your account through the admin dashboard.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we will remove or anonymise the following data:

• Your account profile (name, email, phone number)
• Login credentials and authentication tokens
• Location telemetry data from past shifts
• In-app chat messages
• Leave request history
• Device and session information

What may be retained

Certain data may be retained in anonymised form or where required by law:

• Shift records — clock-in/out times may be retained in anonymised form for client contractual obligations and audit purposes.
• Incident reports — may be retained in anonymised form where required for legal, insurance, or regulatory compliance.
• Payroll records — retained as required by UK employment and tax law (typically 6 years).

Processing time

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
